Feeling sluggish in the afternoon? Take this 2-minute test

Do you feel sluggish in the middle of the day? Before you say, “I’m SO tired”… ask yourself this: have I been sitting still for too long?

When you sit for a long time—at the office or at home—your breathing slows down, your body stiffens… and your energy drops.

The brain interprets this as fatigue. But often, it’s not rest we need… it’s movement.

Here’s the 2-minute test.

The next time you feel tired:

  • Stand up

  • Take a deep breath

  • Move around a little

  • Open up your chest

  • Roll your shoulders

  • Rotate your upper body—like a helicopter

No need to overcomplicate things. Just get your body moving again.

After 2 minutes, ask yourself: Has my energy level changed?

Very often… the answer is yes.

So before reaching for another cup of coffee: try moving around for 3 minutes.
